At the moment i am trying to lose weight, i have about 31/2 stone to lose. I go on the exercise bike every morning and burn around 500 calories and i am watching my calories when i eat so i am averaging about 800 calories each day, but i dont seem to be losing weight how can improve my weight loss and what am i doing wrong?

Eat more! Don't be fooled because the article is referring to more of healthy, low-fat foods rather than junk food. Junk food can range from burgers to those cookies that you always bought! Adding a lot of vegetables and fruits to your diet will help you. Also, drinking bouillon, a Haitian soup, made with filtered water will help you feel full.

Avoid sodas as much as possible. Instead, drink flavored water or unsweetened iced tea.
Take broth-based soups. They are a relatively low in calories. A commerically-available ready to eat "chicken and stars" soup may only have 80 calories for 1 serving, much less than diet "meal shakes" or nutrition bars.

These may help you.Practice good eating habits. Always use utensils and sit at the table. This stops you from eating precariously. Eating with your hands will mean that you take in more food in one scoop. Don't forget to eat slowly and stop when you're full. Similar to the above step, if you can't stop, drink up! Maybe your body is thirsty and hungry no more! Also, you can do any other chores (other than eating). For instance, go shopping, or play badminton with your friend, or play games on the computer!
Spread out your diet! Eat more small chunks of meals, rather than 3 big meals. If you eat 100-150 calories or so every two hours, your body stays in a higher-metabolism digesting mode. This allows you to burn more calories than eating just 3 meals a day.[1]

How many clothes sizes can I lose in 14 weeks?

I'm doing slimming world - because it's easy for a veggie.
And I will do 30 minutes of yoga each morning and 20-30 mins on an exercise bike every evening.
I currently weigh 16st6lbs (230 lbs) and am a UK size 18/20 (I'm 5ft 9 btw)

If I do this how much weight will I lose? And what dress size will I be for the new year?

you should aim for about 2-3lbs per week, my auntie was on slimming world and she did really well out of it. I would expect you to lose more in the first week or 2, maybe 5lbs each. You might plateau though so be careful to mix up the foods that you have so you don't have the same thing all the time.
I'd guess that you could probably loose a maximum of 3 stone which would take you to around 14 stone, probably a size 14.

Cycling is a cardiovascular work-out which will strengthen the heart, improve stamina, tone leg & butt muscles & reduce body fat "proportionately" all over. The machine you are looking at will do a little more for the abs than a traditional outdoor type bicycle due to the movement of it.

A word of caution...a "good" cardiovascular work-out will last 60 minutes, every other day PLUS a brief warm up & cooling off period at slower speeds. An outdoor type bicycle is a heck-of-a-lot more fun than these indoor ones. If you go with it - have something to do besides pedal away on it. Set up a small TV or radio to keep from getting bored to death. Vary the resistance on it every 10 minutes or so.
