Isn't there some kind of Stand or lift I can use to convert an outdoor bike to an exercise bike to use indoors in bad weather?
Answer
yes it is called a trainer see here:http://www.modernbike.com/itemgroup.asp?IGPK=2126175104 or here: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/sub_cat.cfm?subcategory_id=4120
This is all you need and a block for the front tire and a mat to put under it. Nothing to it!

What is the best way to lose fat in this gym setup?
George Nai
I have chosen gym as a sports option for next year and I was wondering what would be a good routine to lose body fat and become more healthy with these pieces of equipment:
A rowing machine
Exercise bike
Chest and Shoulder Machines
Leg Machines
Dumbbells etc...
and of course mats for sit ups and press ups.
We have 1.30hrs-2hrs each session if that's any help?
Thanks very much
Answer
Exercise bike: 10 minutes per session.
Chest and Shoulder Machines: 3 sets per session - increase the weight lifted every 3 sessions.
Leg Machines: same settings as the chest machine.
Dumbbells: good for 3 sets per biceps, triceps and back fat removal.
Mats: not more than 20 minutes.
Rinse and repeat.
Note that what you eat will dramatically affect your fat loss routine overall. Try to get more proteins in your meals so that you increase your metabolism.
