You need to think about why it is you are afraid? Did you experience something tragic? Life threatening? Did someone in your family or one of your friends die recently? Really, this fear is valid, but at your age it is unusual to become consumed with the idea of death and dieing.

Do you worry about other things besides this to a point it is interfering with your life, or is this your main thought, your only consuming worry?

Maybe this will help. You are not alone. Every person and every living thing will eventually die. It is usually safe to say you never know when that time will come, but usually there are variables that can help you know the probability of death. Activities you participate will increase or decrease your lifespan...racing your car for example, or drinking and driving are two things that would increase your chances of dieing sooner than later. Smoking, no exercise, poor diet, and stress will most likely cut your life short. But with every action that lessens lifetime, there is the opposite action that may prolong your life. Drive carefully, or ride a bike or walk when it is doable...that will help you twofold. Don't smoke, exercise, eat a balanced diet and do not take life so seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am afraid of death too, or I should say I am afraid of the way I will die...will it hurt? cancer? some rare disease? a terrorist attack? Will I get to see my daughter grow up? Fall in love? Start her own family? Who will care for her if I died in an accident? Sound familiar? We all do it, worry about death, but usually for different reasons. I don't worry about death because I am afraid of it, but because I don't want to leave my daughter motherless. But, if I were consumed by the idea, I couldn't be a very good Mom while I am here, and my worrying would be for nothing because there is nothing I would be able to do about it except try to live a healthy life and avoid reckless activities.

We are all going to die, it is part of the lifecycle. We all have dead relatives, and we will have relatives who live beyond our years. But, in the end, it is inevitable. You are going to die. I am going to die. And everyone else is going to die too. When you are dead, you won't know it because you will be dead. You won't be, and that is okay, because before you were you, before you began to be you, you were not a thing. Perhaps your faith or culture has a story about an afterlife, and thats okay. It does not take away the fact that you and I are going to die. But right now, you are living...kind of.

I say kind of because you are frozen by your fear that is somewhat irrational for your age, unless you jump from airplanes on a daily basis, and I doubt you do. You are young, and you should have many years ahead of you. But, if you don't you won't know it, and worrying about it is just going to make the time you have alive not very happy, is it? In fact, with the constant worrying, I'd say you are making your life miserable, which would not make its end seem so bad, would it? But obviously, you don't want to die, otherwise you would not worry about it at all. Don't you think living your life to the fullest, appreciating every day would make your life that much more worth living? It is the preciousness of life, the fact that it does not last forever that should keep us in check, to appreciate what we have, to do things that make us happy, and to try things that are scary because it may be amazing, but we can't know until we try.

Also, before our solar system became what it is today, all the matter that makes up the planets and the stars and moons...everything in our solar system is composed of the same elements. The Sun is largely what we are not, but it has small amounts of what makes up most of human life. So, if you think about it, we came from stardust. How amazing is that? Everything came from stardust, and so when you die, you will simply change forms. You will not have the same energy, but your essence will still exist. Who knows what it may become again some time?! Not to worry because you wont ever know. For all we know, we were stardust and then another life form before we became who we are.

Nothing lives forever, nothing is certain except that everything is constantly changing, we are all connected through life here on Earth, and we will all die. So, instead of worrying about the inevitable, you should focus on living. I promise, if anything it will definitely prolong your life and then when you do meet death, if you are conscious before death, you can know you lived a good life, feel satisfied and have no fear of the next step. You will not be, and thats okay.

What's the best brand of treadmills/exercise bikes?

As in quality and price?

Answer
for a spinner, I have had some great workouts on a johnny G spinner.

trainers- if you have a bike and want to strap it to a trainer, I reccommend a cycleops fluid trainer.

for a gym-like excercise bike, try testing out a lifecycle bike, they aren't bad, but you don't get much in road simulation.

good luck.
