I've had a rough stressful year and I need to lose 75 pounds. I was on the birth control shot and gained too much weight. I have an exercise bike. I have started losing inches but not pounds. Don't have any money for gym so please help. Does yogurt make your waist smaller?

Yogurt actually makes you hungry. Yogurt is a diet food, and diet foods don't work. You're on the right track with the bike! Now bear with me, buy some dumbbells! And a stability ball! Both are really cheap, and the results will really be there faster then just a bike! Don't listen to the idiots talking about how much better gyms are then home gyms, it's a bunch of bull. If you weight lift, you will gain muscle, and muscle burns more calories at rest! Which means you can burn calories just sitting! It's called the afterburn effect.
So, follow this regimen:
Bike at least 30 minutes every other day. Start out slow!
Eat only veggies, fruits, and LEAN proteins (doesn't have to be meat.) Don't worry about counting calories if that is all you are eating. Give yourself at least one cheat day.
Incorporate weightlifting. Only do one muscle group at a time so you can alternate day to day.
Ex. arms one day, abs the next, legs, etc.
Go to youtube or surf the net for weightlifting exercises.
Also grab some music, because music will actually help you work out harder and longer!

I like to jog and workout on the exercise bike not to mention lifting weights. I would like to know where (website) I can dowload free mp3 songs. My music is getting dull.
