What is a cheap good exercise bike?

Q. I am 15 years old and i'm getting a little overweight, can anyone tell me what a good exercise bike is?

If you have a bike put it on a trainer, you can get them for as low as $80. I would check the local ebay and craig's list for a used trainer or exercise bike. They are so boring that people stop using them after a few weeks. You need to exercise for 45-60 min to get good results and a good diet will do more then the exercise but you want to do both.

I have been looking at the Edge 440 recumbent exercise bike, but cannot find any information on how good they are. I haven't heard of Edge before and wonder if anyone has anything made by them or where I might be able to go online to find any reviews on it.
Also if someone has one that they would like to recommend. It is going to be a gift for my father who is approx 6'2" with long legs so the seat needs to be quite adjustable. Thanks
